I think the index of your post-tag table is broken.
It´s a common issue every now and then which prevents every user on your instance to search for hashtags.
If your instance is new and / or small, please run:
mysqloptimize -p YOURDBNAMEfrom the bash / shell.YOURDBNAME should be the actual name of your Database.
Try searching for hashtags when the command is finished.
